Wheels & Wells Car Show

Every Third Saturday in August

From gleaming hot rods to vintage classics, you’ll discover a full-throttle celebration where automotive passion meets the birthplace of Canada’s oil industry. Wander among stunning vehicles, explore the site of the first commercial oil well, and enjoy family-friendly fun at one of our region’s most iconic landmarks. It’s the perfect mix of horsepower and heritage—don’t miss your chance to experience history in high gear.

General admission is FREE. Cars can register by donation on the day of the show at 9:30 a.m. A suggested donation of $10 is appreciated.

Show Awards

Throughout the show, participants will be able to peruse the cars and vote for their favourite to receive an award. There are three awards to be won. Voting will close at 2:00 p.m. to allow time for ballot counting and the winners will be announced before the end of the show.

Staff members from the Oil Museum of Canada will select one vehicle to receive the Black Gold Award. Vehicle age, history, and Lambton County connection will play a factor in the decision-making.

All participating car owners will receive a ballot to cast their vote for the Pit Crew Pick award. The vehicle with the most votes will go home with the prize.

All attendees of the Wheels & Wells Car Show can cast a vote for their favourite vehicle of the day. The car with the most votes will go home with the Fan Fuelled Favourite award.
